Smooth Skin – Gently and Effectively with Sugaring

Sugaring is a natural technique where sugar paste removes hair from the root without irritating the skin. It is perfectly suitable even for sensitive skin, and with regular use, it helps reduce hair growth.

What can you expect?
✅ Exfoliates the skin
✅ Removes discoloration
✅ Reduces hair growth over time
Sugaring is an effective method for removing unwanted hair while also exfoliating the skin. It helps remove dead skin cells and may even reduce surface discoloration, leaving the skin softer and healthier-looking.
Both sugaring and waxing can also help prevent ingrown hairs.
When treatments are done regularly, every 4–6 weeks, hair growth can gradually decrease over time. This is because repeated treatments weaken the hair structure, and in some cases, hair follicles may be destroyed, leading to a permanent reduction in hair growth.
Does sugaring hurt?
The first time, you may feel some pinching, but the discomfort is brief and generally well tolerated – especially in the hands of an experienced professional. With each session, the sensation eases as the hair becomes weaker.
Wax or sugar? What` s the Difference?
Both waxing and sugaring are popular hair removal methods, but there are some key differences that can help you decide which is best for you.
Sugaring:
✅ Sugar paste is applied against the direction of hair growth and removed with the direction of growth. This often makes it gentler, as hairs are pulled out following their natural growth.
✅ The paste is usually made from natural ingredients like sugar, water, and lemon juice, making it hypoallergenic and safe for most skin types.
✅ Many people find sugaring less painful, as it doesn't adhere to the skin in the same way wax does.
Waxing:
✅ Wax is applied with the direction of hair growth and removed against it, which can cause more pulling on the skin and hair follicles.
✅ Waxing is ideal for precise shaping, especially for eyebrows, thanks to its accuracy.
Who is sugaring not suitable for?
Sugaring is not recommended if the skin has active eczema, burns, open wounds, acute psoriasis, or if you are taking medication that causes skin peeling reactions (e.g., Roaccutane). Always let us know if you are unsure!

Brazilian, Bikini or Bikini String?
💚 Brazilian: Entire intimate area + buttock crease. You can add buttocks sugaring as an extra service.
💚 Bikini: Removes only the hair outside the underwear line.
💚 Bikini String: A bit more thorough than bikini but not as complete as Brazilian. Hair is also removed from the back.
How often should you get sugaring?
Sugaring is typically done every 4–6 weeks. This rhythm keeps the skin smooth and helps weaken hair growth with each treatment.
Sugaring is more than just hair removal – it also:
✅ Exfoliates the skin
✅ Removes discoloration
✅ Reduces the amount of hair over time
Before and After Sugaring
How to Prepare for Sugaring?
✅ Hair length: Hair should be about 0.5 cm long (not too short or too long).
Sugar and wax can remove hair as short as 2–3 mm, but we recommend at least 5 mm of growth – about two weeks of growth. Hair that's too long can tug during application, while shorter hair may require several passes.
✅ Avoid moisturizing on the day of treatment
Moisturizers can prevent the sugar paste from adhering properly.
✅ Don't exfoliate right before your appointment
Exfoliate gently 2 days before hair removal. We primarily recommend chemical exfoliation, such as an enzymatic body scrub, but dry brushing is also sufficient for some skin types. Thorough exfoliation enhances depilation by clearing dead skin cells, allowing even young, barely visible hairs to be removed.
✅ Skip deodorant if coming for underarm sugaring
After Hair Removal – How to Care for Your Skin
After depilation, the hair follicle remains open, making it easier for impurities to enter. That's why it's important to follow these aftercare instructions:
🚫 For the first 12 hours, avoid:
Sweating (exercise, sauna)
Deodorant
Sun/solarium
Self-tanning products
Perfume on the treated area
🧴 Exfoliation:
Do not exfoliate the skin for 2 days after depilation
After that, exfoliate 1–3 times a week
Dry brushing is the most cost-effective method, but not suitable for everyone
Enzymatic or acid-based exfoliation is a gentle and effective way to keep skin in perfect condition
Pfb Vanish: Gently exfoliates skin cells and brings ingrown hairs to the surface. Redness and swelling typically disappear within 48 hours. Shop!
💧 Moisturize daily:
Apply a nourishing body lotion every day and, if necessary, use products that prevent ingrown hairs, such as:
Depileve Folisan: Effective for preventing ingrown hairs after depilation or shaving. Calms irritation. Apply daily with a cotton pad on treated/shaved areas. ⚠️ Do not use if allergic or sensitive to salicylic acid. Instruction video
BiON Waxing Lotion: Advanced antibacterial spot treatment that helps minimize acne inflammations and skin infections caused by ingrown hairs and red bumps. Potent plant extracts reduce inflammation and kill acne-causing bacteria.
🌞 Protect your skin from the sun for 1 week after hair removal.
📅 Book your next appointment:
If you wish to reduce hair growth, repeat treatments every 3–4 weeks.
Why Do Ingrown Hairs Occur – and What Can You Do?
Ingrown Hairs – How to Prevent and Treat Them
Ingrown hairs often occur when the hair cannot properly break through the skin's surface. Regular exfoliation, moisturizing, and correct hair removal techniques are the most effective ways to prevent the problem. If needed, we also recommend soothing products that help prevent folliculitis (inflammation of the hair follicle).
✅ Exfoliation & hydration – Regular exfoliation and daily moisturizing effectively prevent ingrown hairs. Using exfoliating dry-brushing gloves before showering helps remove dead skin cells that can block new, finer hairs. Dry brushing 2–5 times a week allows new hairs to grow through the skin smoothly. For some, dry brushing is enough; others may need more targeted care to keep the skin flawless and healthy.
✅ Pfb Vanish – A home-care product for the treatment and prevention of ingrown hairs.
✅ Lip Intimate Care range – Nourishes and moisturizes freshly sugared skin.
